I am Lise--alternately known as Asenath/CaptainEcchi/Red Anne Bonney. I'm 30-ish, married to the charming electric_d_monk, and the parent of three dear felines. If we like candy metaphors, I can accurately be described as a caramel coating of intellectual curiousity surrounding a creamy center of lassitude.

I have a B.A. in cognitive science from Vassar College and I work as a front-end web developer for a tech publisher.

I was born an only child, and the man I married is an only child, as well. I think this says a lot about me. Notably, it says that I never want children myself.

I have an unhealthy obsession with being obsessed--I'm my happiest when I can let myself be blindly engrossed in something for hours at a time. My interests are below, but it's enough to know that I have a LOT of hobbies. Chief among them recently has been LARPing.

More details, updated more timely-like, are available to friends on my captainecchi 101 post.
